When we spend too much time trying to figure out the best way to do something, it often happens that we take too much time to figure out the perfect system compared to the time that we actually spend using the system. This is probably an example of diminishing returns.
The conclusion then is that spending time to build a perfect system might not be the most efficient thing to do.
