- Drop the subject if it’s clear
- か serves as the question marker. Add to end of sentence to turn statement into question.
- 疲れるますが? :: tired now?
- Object particle を marks the target of verb. Pronounced [o]
- さかなをたべます。 :: Fish was eaten (by me)
- The directional particle へ indicates direction. pronounced [e]
- 学校へ :: to school
- 日本へ :: to japan
- The time particle に is added to indicate at a point in time
- 5月に :: in May
- 月曜日に :: on Monday
- なければ is a subjunctive marker
- だ - end of sentence marker, neutral, no respect nor detest
- です - end of sentence marker, with respect
- 语气后缀
- よ - emphasise certainty “actually” “does”
- “ですよ”
- ね - seeking passive agreement “right?” “isn’t it?”

- わ - soft, gentle
- “ですわ”
